_FileReadToArray isn't showing me all the .txt characters

Hello everyone,

I made this simple script here:

#include <Array.au3>
#include <File.au3>

Local $Array1

_FileReadToArray("TestFile.txt", $Array1) ;Stores the contents of the file in an array

_ArrayDisplay($Array1, "Document Contents")

The script is suppose to read the words from the attached text file.

However, when I look at the displayed array, it only shows me like 80% of the words from the text file.

Is there a limit to how many characters the _FileArrayToRead function can store in a given array row?

It's the display function. Iterate through the array using a msgbox or consolewrite to see everything is fine.

I can see all my text in a msgbox like you said.

After my script stores the text into an array, I need to use an _ArrayFindAll search to look for specific words. So my text needs to be stored in an array. But the problem is that it doesn't store all the characters into the array.

Are you sure that it's not loading the whole text file into the array? _ArrayDisplay has a limit on the number of rows it will display due to it using an AutoIt ListView, so is it possible that the whole file is loaded and you're just not able to see it all in _arraydisplay?

I don't see an "attached text file".  Also, can you tell us more about what you are trying to do.  It may be that a simple regexp will be better than array processing.

Yeah, the whole file is defintely loaded. Because I can view the entire .txt file in a msgbox.

It must be _ArrayDisplay's limit that prevents me from seeing everything. I solved it by using StringSplit on the text file and then re inserting the text into the array. This is solved. I've also looked into Stringregexp for pattern searching. Thanks Guiness and Brewman and kylomas.
