Chimaera Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Ive been playing with the extra styles for a radio box and cant seem to get it how i want Problem 1 The radio button sits on the edge of the left boundary of the slot it occupies is there a way to have a gap near the edge of the area ie move the round bit to the right to create a gap on the left so it looks better Problem 2 Is there a way to make a darker border or a line for the edge of the area? ie this edge Any options? (so i just added a whitespace before the text). but for your issue, i think you can try create the radio with blank text, and add the text as a label, so you can control the exact position. as for the 2nd issue - a group should do it, otherwise - a set of 4 labels to simulate 4 lines around the area you want (top & bottom labels height 1px, left & right labels width 1px). b.t.w i always prefer to switch to the older style (no visual theme) for radio controls: Func RemoveTheme($hItem) DllCall("UxTheme.dll","int","SetWindowTheme","hwnd",$hItem,"wstr",0,"wstr",0) EndFunc call this with the handle of the radio control, which you can get by ControlGetHandle() P.S. this should be in the GUI forum, no? Ive chopped the second example to give the idea , it looks so much better away from the edge. I had a look through the help for WinApi and theme bits but its very complicated so ill just use the example like orbs gave. Presumably its still a line of code either way so no major difference. i had a look at the example for this but it doesn't seem to change anything that i can see _WinAPI_SetThemeAppProperties If Ive just helped you ... miracles do happen.
