How to open excell with Run

'Hello, how i can open Excel in general,  

Run("notepad") - is working, but excel-not. 

maybe exist other function for that? ty

Check the Excel user defined functions (UDF) in the help file :

_Excel_BookOpen ( $oExcel, $sFilePath [, $bReadOnly = False [, $bVisible = True [, $sPassword = Default [, $sWritePassword = Default]]]] )
 

Edit: I know the title said "with Run" but you also said "in general" and you asked for other functions  ...

I too suggest to use the Excel UDF as it is much easier to automate using COM as to automate the GUI.
