haf Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 AutoIt v3 Window Info shows me the following for a control:Class: AfxWnd90sInstance: 104ClassnameNN: AfxWnd90s104Name: [empty]Advanced Mode: [CLASS:AfxWnd90s; INSTANCE 80]ID: 1Text: MyTextetc.I tried to get the text with the following but only get an empty string:Local $sText = ControlGetText("[CLASS:AfxWnd90s; INSTANCE:80]", "", "")Clearly the text "MyText" can be read as "Auto v3 Window Info" shows it. So how do I get to that text?
water Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) Welcome to Autoit and the forum!I wonder why it reads "Instance: 104" in line 2 and "Instance 80" in the Advanced Mode. But as the Control has an ID of 1 I simply would use the ID to access the Control.BTW: The sequence of the parameters is wrong. It should be:Local $sText = ControlGetText("x", "", 1)"x" needs to be replaced by the title/hWnd/class of the window to access.
