How to use Else for multiple If's

4 posts in this topic

Example :

$box = InputBox (" Example ", "Password ", "", "*")

If $box = "correct password" Then

MsgBox (0, "Box", "You entered the correct password" )

EndIf

If $box = "Alternate password" Then

MsgBox (0, "Box", "You entered the alternate password" )

EndIf

How Do I make it such that when something else which isn't the correct or the alternate password is entered in the input box, something else would happen ?

Either use nested If/Then/Else/ElseIf

$sPassword = InputBox(" Example ", "Password ", "", "*")
If $sPassword = "correct password" Then
MsgBox(0, "Box", "You entered the correct password")
ElseIf $sPassword = "Alternate password" Then
MsgBox(0, "Box", "You entered the alternate password")
Else
MsgBox(0, "Box", "You entered an invalid password")
EndIf

or Select.
