Pause script

Recommended Posts

well, it's not 'hold' left click, but here is an option for pressing a key (you can sub in left click for page up):

$Paused = False

HotKeySet("{PGUP}", "TogglePause")

Func TogglePause()
    $Paused = Not $Paused
    ToolTip('Script is "Paused"', 0, 0)
    While $Paused
        Sleep(100)
    WEnd
    ToolTip('', 0, 0)
EndFunc

You can script it for a 'hold', but then you have to do a loop from key or mouse down, inside the function, and have at least a loop of some amount of time prior to doing the While loop.

Use: _IsPressed:

_IsPressed() will return 1 until the key is released.

No. The syntax of your If statement is wrong.

Try this:

#include <Misc.au3>

$i = 1

$splash = SplashTextOn("meep", $i, 100, 50)

while 1

    while _IsPressed(1) ;left click

        sleep(100)

    WEnd

    $i = $i + 1

    ControlSetText($splash, "", "[CLASSNN:Static1]", $i)

WEnd
