Hi there,

I'm not a programmer and I need to automate finding words in different web page with Mozilla.

I used

     send("^f")
     $searchstring1 = "Today"

Fine all the words Today are selected.

How to select the words "Today" and or "Tomorrow"

this code does not work

     send("^f")
     $searchstring1 = "Today"

     $searchstring2 = "Tomorrow"

and how to advertise me the pages containing the words Today or Tomorrow

Thank you very much

Terro

Actually it should be very helpful to you, using Send is not the way to interact with a browser, or much of anything else for that matter unless it's the last resort. WebDriver UDF might also be helpful. or the UIA UDF.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Search Syntax
Advanced Search queries use the following syntax:

+ signifies AND operation
| signifies OR operation
- negates a single token
" wraps a number of tokens to signify a phrase for searching
* at the end of a term signifies a prefix query
( and ) signify precedence

It will get you an early start.  But check those UDF that have been suggested to you !
