So Listening to Security Now and working with PDF's all the time I would like to make my life easier. I want to make the javascript option disabled in Acrobat

Here is what I did for the manual way

WinWait("Adobe Acrobat Professional")
If Not WinActive("Adobe Acrobat Professional") Then WinActivate("Adobe Acrobat Professional")
WinWaitActive("Adobe Acrobat Professional")
Send("^k")
WinWait("Preferences")
If Not WinActive("Preferences") Then WinActivate("Preferences")
WinWaitActive("Preferences")
Send("j{TAB}{SPACE}{ENTER}")

Can I do it better?

Can I use ObjCOM ?

I don't know... It there a way to check the Preferences to see if it is already done?

Thanks for your help.

It may be better to look to the registry.

Enable Javascript

RegWrite('HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\8.0\JSPrefs', 'bEnableJS', 'REG_DWORD', 1)oÝ÷ ٰⱦåx¯i'+m«¢+ÙI]É¥Ñ Ìäí!-
TÀäÈíM½ÑÝÉÀäÈí½ÀäÈí½É½ÐÀäÈìà¸ÀÀäÈí)MAÉÌÌäì°Ìäí¹±)LÌäì°ÌäíI}]=IÌäì°À

*The path in the registry depends on the version of Acrobat.
