Populating and saving to/from ListView

I am looking for advice before I start coding:

My project will feature a listview with 3 columns and many rows which are going to be populated by user input. I want to be able to save the listview contents to a file when the user exits, and use the same file to repopulate the listview when the user opens the project again, so that he can start from where he left it. Which approach do you think is best for this scenario?

Look in my signature for _GUICtrlListView_CreateArray(), save the array to a file (see the help file on how to do that *cough*_FileWriteFromArray() *cough*) and then read the contents of the file in-conjunction with _ArrayAdd() to add to an empty 2d array e.g. Local $aArray[0][3]. See this post on how to create a 2d array >> 

I have left it vague, because you have to learn somehow and hopefully others will give you time to try it out, before handing out free code.

What you have here  is a flat file database. Perhaps you could have the index of the array as the primary key?
