[Solved]Binary to Image object

Hi to all,

I was wondering if there is way to convert a files binary code to an image object. Like _GDIPlus_ImageLoadFromFile() function but reads from binary :graduated:...

$Up_PNG = _GDIPlus_ImageLoadFromFile(@ScriptDir & "\Pics\SearchUp.png")
$ZEROGraphic = _GDIPlus_GraphicsCreateFromHWND($Form1)
$Up_Button = _GDIPlus_GraphicsDrawImageRectRect ($ZEROGraphic, $Up_PNG, 0, 0, 64, 64, 638, 510, 64, 64)

I've searched the forum and found Zedna+ProgAndy's UDF (_SetImageBinaryToCtrl()). It is great but that sets the image file to a control. I need an image object to use with _GDIPlus_GraphicsDrawImageRectRect function. (You can see the code above. I tried to tweek the UDF but I couldn't get anywhere.

Yashied thanks for the response.

I've already looked in your icon udf but I couldn't find a way how I can turn an image binary to an image object. Maybe I'm missing something. And please note that I'm not very good with dllcals...

To be more precise I'll try give an example:

My Code is like this:

I want to turn it to something like this:

It was making sense to me but clearly I dindn't understand the routines very well... It didn't work...

I think I figured out how to do it. Actually wolf9228 is the author of the func I just trimmed it a bit to make it only return image object.

I'm sorry I need to dig this old Thread out aggain, but it seems that your function runs really fine .. until you want to run it on a 64-Bit system (compiled as 64-Bit).
My skills are aktually far to low to adjust the Funtion myself .. Does anybody know how to transform it for x64 use? :/ :)
