block keyboard input

3 posts in this topic

how to block keyboard/mouse input of an user for the running program on which autoit runs?

i write an autoit script by using

Send("{TAB}{TAB}{TAB}")
Send("{ENTER}")

with keyboard controlling it is for me faster to create autoit scripts... but if i use keyboard/mouse while the script runs... it affects the autoit script... is there any way to block the input for the programm on which autoit is focused?

See "BlockInput" in the helpfile:

"Disable/enable the mouse and keyboard."

On the forum you can find an UDF that allows for more granular blocking ...
