[SOLVED] Image List - Add Bitmap from Resources

I've been using the following code to add bitmap images to my listview:

$imgloc = $images_directory & $Browse_Array[$x][8] & ".bmp"


        If FileExists($imgloc) Then
            _GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, $imgloc)
        Else
            _GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, $images_directory & "Unknown.bmp")
        EndIf

However, I have over 500 images and would like to very much remove that folder and include them as resources.

I've attempted several methods of adding the images. In some, the listview rows are correctly adjusted to the size of the images, but the image isn't displayed. In others, there is no change in the row height and no image displayed.

Here is what I've tried:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_File_Add=arcticfurs.bmp, rt_bitmap, ARCTICFURS

_GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, _ResourceGetAsBitmap("ARCTICFURS")) ;FAIL no row height change

_GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, _ResourceGetAsBitmap("ARCTICFURS", $RT_BITMAP)) ;FAIL no row height change

_GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, _ResourceGet("ARCTICFURS", $RT_BITMAP)) ;FAIL row height changed

_GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, _GDIPlus_BitmapCreateFromHBITMAP(_ResourceGet("ARCTICFURS", $RT_BITMAP))) ;FAIL row height changed

_GUIImageList_AddBitmap($hImage, _GDIPlus_BitmapCreateFromHBITMAP(_ResourceGetAsBitmap("ARCTICFURS"))) ;FAIL no row height change

What am I doing wrong here?

Maybe use this instead >>

$hImageList = _GUIImageList_Create(16, 16, 5, 3)

_GUIImageList_AddEx($hImageList, "RESOURCE")

Func _GUIImageList_AddEx($hImageList, $sResource)
    Local $hImage = _ResourceGetAsBitmap($sResource)
    _GUIImageList_Add($hImageList, $hImage)
    _WinAPI_DeleteObject($hImage)
    Return 1

Convert to PNG and then try again perhaps? Then use 

#AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_File_Add=FILENAME.png, 10, FILE

Or try this >>

_GUIImageList_AddEx($hImageList, "RESOURCE")

Func _GUIImageList_AddEx($hImageList, $sResource)
    Local $hImage = _ResourceGet($sResource, $RT_BITMAP)
    _GUIImageList_Add($hImageList, $hImage)
