Windows 8 consumer beta and Run

I have a script I use to log on to a telnet server with. The first line is: run ("telnet 10.0.0.1"). I loaded the Windows 8 consumer beta yesterday and started reloading my apps. When I got to AutoIt I found that nothing happens when I run this script. It just ignores the first line. The rest of the script waits until the telnet session has opened then proceeds. If I run the script and manually open a telnet session then the script will finish running. If I compile the script and run as admin the same thing happens. It works fine on Windows XP/Vista/7. I can live with it for now but I thought I'd see if anyone has a suggestion. thanks...

Did you enable this in Windows 8?

Note: This works in Vista & 7, so I presume it should be the same in 8.

1. Open Control Panel.

2. Go to Programs or Programs and Features.

3. Click Turn Windows features on or off.

4. In the “Windows Features” dialog box, select (tick) the Telnet Client check box.

I tried putting the full path (c:\windows\system32\telnet.exe) to no avail. I substituted mspaint for telnet and it started mspaint.

I've got it to work. I copied telnet.exe into c:windows and AutoIt can start it from there.
