Quick Question

With AdlibRegister, MouseHooks and RegisterMsg once your finished with it its normally best to release it "to free up performance / resources".

I am currently working on some code that uses a GUIRegisiterMsg. How do i unregsister this ?

GUIRegisterMsg($WM_MENUSELECT, "MyFunction")

Func MyFunction($hWnd, $Msg, $wParam, $lParam)

EndFunc

You're welcome. I should have added more than what I did, but you're a smart guy so I figured you would understand.

I had a feeling "GUIRegisterMsg($WM_MENUSELECT, '')" would be the command for unregistering it as in many auto-it commands when it is recalled with "" (meaning blank) it procides to remove it but sense this is not the case in everything or might not of been the offical way "freeing memory / leaving unclosed hooks could cause problems" Which is why i wanted to double check :)

Still, thanks for the fast response.
