I need it to pop up a stop window, I got that down, but the problem is I need it to take control of the mouse and click its own X button( It's made to be a joke ), how would I do this?

Current Script:

MsgBox(16,"The Useless Program","Dude, I'm a useless program, you can't use me!")

MouseClick(746,388)

But of coarse this won't work.

I know John, BUT having the mouse control work while a message box is open can lead to some very great programs that are much more advanced..

Assuming your intentions are honorable the basic problem that "MsgBox" is a blocking function so the script pauses. You can do a few things to solve your problem:

  • Create a non-blocking GUI that displays your message box (search the forum for "NotifyBox")

  • Call a separate Autoit Scipt (executable) that displays your Message Box

  • Use a 3rd party program like "wizmo" or "nircmd" to display a message box

I really would go back to the drawing board on this one, your idea is neither great nor will it lead to some 'great' programs.
