We need more information to offer any sensible advice. :)

- What is this "text"? Is it in an edit control, or already in a variable or an array?

- What do you want to do with the "word" when you find it? Highlight it, delete it, change it, just note the position of teh various instances?

I would use StringReplace which puts the number of replacements into @extended - something like this:

Or StringRegExpReplace...

Local $sText = 'Wording words, word the world or worded. But would you word the world of worlding.'
StringReplace($sText, 'word', 2)
ConsoleWrite('StringReplace: ' & @extended & @CRLF) ; This will replace any word containing the word 'word'
