What is wrong with using the standard TCP functions?

I just made mine and tried to work on that one cuz it's easier for me to understand

And as i said yours is better and much faster than mine ;)

OK, well as far as I'm concerned I've provided a very reasonable/workable answer as well as additional information on how to interpret the content-type. Though the content-type can sometimes be ambiguous or general, the link I provided above should help you to interpret the filetype.

You might not understand the String*** functions, but with 400+ posts I would expect you to understand how to use the help file.

Ye i would love to do that, the only problem is that.... i have no clue how stringregexp should be set.

And as i saw in the help files! it has a lot to explain.... I never used string functions.

This link helped me but also killed me.

I used a switch function to switch between all these MIME but apparently a MIME type application/octet-stream could be a lot of file extensions...

I managed displaying all those on my computer but i think there is not a solution in this...

I feel nothing.It feels great.

But it still downloads the file, mine doesn't.

Because for me it doesn't download any files...

I think you are confused my friend. In this topic there are two different functions from me.

An alternative of InetGet i posted and another function to get the file Header which is the last one above i posted...

I'm not confused. Your function which retrieves the content-type still downloads the file in the background. Well it must do because your function took 154439ms on my system to retrieve the content-type header value.

I presume you have a super fast Internet connection.

How do you do that when you have under http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/KOffice-Download-2781.html on the download link click? Suppose it were a ZIP file, which should be differentiated with respect to a EXE file, as this would need to be unpacked yet?
