yeilers Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 hi guys, I'm new in this forum, it's nice to see how big it's the comunity! Well, this is my problem: I'm trying to download the html source of a website, the usual function would be InetGetSource, the problem here is that I have to be logged in the website to do it, else the page isn't available. I thought that If I just IEcreate a page with my info logged (got it) and go to the page I want to download, then I would be able to download it (cause I will be already logged) but nope, it seems that IEcreate and INetGetSource are different things (Inet.au3 & IE.au3) and one doesn't share the info of the other (the loggin data) What could I do my fellas? Thanks a lot, this is driving me crazy since last week

ileandros Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Read the remarks of the InetGet function. Maybe you could do it without using IE browser. I feel nothing. It feels great.
somdcomputerguy Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I use InetGetSource to get the source code of a certain page, which is different whether I am logged in to that page or not. So, I went to that page (manually, with Internet Explorer) and logged into it, with the 'Remember Me' checkbox checked. Then, InetGetSource will get the data I expect. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
