Amount of String, within a String.

I have done a search on the forums as well as the help file, but couldn't really find anything.

I don't suppose there is a function to do something like this;

$Temp = Amount(', , , , , , , ', ',')
ConsoleWrite('The Amount of , in the string was ' & $Temp)


Func Amount($String, $SubString)
Local $Temp = 1
While StringInStr($String, $SubString, 1, $Temp)
$Temp += 1
WEnd
Return $Temp-1
EndFunc

Where it tells you, how many of a "Certain" thing is in the given string.

No need to search the forum, just look in the Help file:

$Temp = Amount(', , , , , , , ', ',')
ConsoleWrite('The Amount of , in the string was ' & $Temp & @CRLF)

Func Amount($String, $SubString)
    StringReplace($String, $SubString, "")
    Return @extended
EndFunc

Ah k ^^ I did look though the help-file, as there's were i found the stringinstr and used that for my idea. I didn't know stringreplace would do that, i figured from the name it just replaces a string with another string ^^

My gut did tell me though, that a function i was asking for seams fairly common and would of already been made. So i felt it best to ask.
