The Icon show up slower in other directory

I found out that  whenever I placed the exe file(compiled script) to a new directory. It takes 4 minute to load the icon (that is compiled with the script. )

I'm just curious about why is the icon load up is slower. Is there any specific reason?

I don't understand what is relative or absolute.

What I mean is:

I have finished the scripting then I want to compile it using "Compile Script to .exe(x86)". 

In this software, I am able to include icon file to compile together with it.

After finish compiling when I bring this exe file to other place/computer/directory. The icon load up is quite slow.

Any reason for that, or it is like this?

Actually what I want to point out is not the tray icon or the icon in the top left hand corner.

What I mean is when you compile your script it will become exe file right? If you use autoit software to compile, you have the option to put your custom icon and compile.

The most important part is when I transfer this "exe file" to another computer. The icon refresh/load up slow. It has nothing to relate with the code. I just want to understand why is that the icon refresh slow compare to other thing.

What system are you using? Maybe you need to clear the icon cache. Search google for more details, as this isn't AutoIt related.

Operating System e.g. Windows XP, Vista, 7 Or 8? You keep saying "I don't understand", but if you want help don't throw accusations that I'm not following, first ask yourself am I explaining clearly my problem?

What AV are you running? They can often slow down actions on complied files with added icons. Can you add the file to the AV "exceptions" list and see if it loads more quickly? :huh:

I'm really sorry if you think I accuse you of anything. I didn't mean it. The 1st code I posted is a mistake(I copy from wrong file T.T) However I have place a new code on the 2nd post.I'm very sorry about it. The reason I say I don't understand is I may not understand certain terms in coding. Conclusion, I will end my sentence with "am I explaining clearly my problem?" instead of "I don't understand". Sorry if the way I write my sentence get you angry. 

My operating system is window 8 pro. But I try to move around the exe file to different system such as window 7 and window xp.

Great hints!!!!! I think different AV software will have different effect on the exe file I compile. So is there anyway to fix this problem? Allow the compile software to be more secure??

Try adding the file to the AV "exceptions" list and see if that fixes the problem. If it does, then tell the producers of your AV software about the problem. There is nothing you can do about the executable itself. :)
