Increment an array with zero ? HOW ??

Hi, this is bullshit,nowhere says how can I increment a new created array with zero, I mean to full it with zeros. I dont want to make it with a loop !

THis code doesnt work

Global $array[100] = "0"

Ps help me !

Well, no-one is forcing you to use AutoIt, so if it pisses you off that much I suggest you use another language.

If you want to fill an array of that size with "0" you need to use a loop:

Global $array[100]
For $i = 0 to uBound($array) - 1
    $array[$i] = "0"
Next

You could always hide it in a wrapper function if you really felt that was too much code to write.

Well you can initialise at startup like I showed you.

Well it's not bullshit, as empty strings are considered equal to zero (not with case sensitive comparison) it's the same thing than an array initialized with zeros.

Edit: If you want then to increment the values it will work. e.g: $aiArray[0] += 1 ;= 1

Depending on how your application is going to use the array later, you can as well just leave it without explicit declaration. Individual elements get initialized with empty strings which, if later involved in numerical computation, will evaluate to 0.
