Incredibly Simple Script Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just started fiddling around with Autoit. Was trying to play around with a code to automatically alternate between an explorer window and an acrobat window. I keep getting ErrorStdOut. Here's the code:

While 1

WinActivate("iexplore","")

Sleep(3000)

Winactivate(AcroRd32","")

Sleep(3000)

WEnd

Can someone enlighten me please?

Thanks

John

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum!

When you post code, could you please enclose it in AutoIt code tags? Thats the blue "A" icon in the editor. That greatly enhances readability :)

Thanks

Oops - I do actually have the " in place - just didnt translate it correctly on the forum. I'll try and figure out how to use the code tags.

Thanks

Saying "I keep getting ErrorStdOut" , do you mean this line

"C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\SciTE\AutoIt3Wrapper\AutoIt3Wrapper.exe" /run /prod /ErrorStdOut /in ..." in Scite ?

As JohnOne said: The names are incorrect. Don't use the process names from task manager but the titles of the windows.
