am632 Posted July 20, 2014 Share Posted July 20, 2014 Hi, I have a script that uses @ProgramFilesDir which when compiled as an x86 app returns the value Program Files (x86). But I want the program to be able to run on 64-bit machines and use the value 'Program Files' without the (x86) part but I dont want to compile it as a 64-bit app because this wont run on 32-bit machines and I dont want 2 seperate exe's. How can I overcome this? I was thinking of creating a new variable to replace the @ProgramFilesDir. I was thinking something like this at the top of my script. If @OSArch = "x64" then $ProgramFilesDir = something here else $ProgramFilesDir = @ProgramFilesDir EndIf and then compiling my exe to x86. Can anyone help with this please?
