I want to remove a folder from each user profile on W7. They are in appdataroaming and local. Some computers have more than two user profiles. 

I tried DirRemove (@appdatadir & 'folderxx', 1) that only removes the folderxx from appdataroaming for current user. How do I remove appdatalocalfolderxx, and also from all the rest profiles?

you can see all the folders in c:users that you need to loop through, yes?

dump those to an array with _FileListToArray

Loop through that Array  and remove directories with something like

For $i = 0 to ubound($aArray) - 1
  $sUser = $aArray[$i]
  DirRemove("C:\Users\" & $sUSER & "\AppData\roaming")

The hardcoded "C:" should not be used.

Instead use @homedrive

 

For $i = 0 To UBound($aArray) - 1
    $sUser = $aArray[$i]
    DirRemove(@HomeDrive & "\Users\" & $sUser & "\AppData\roaming")
Next
Not all installations have C: as homedrive.

I am just interested as to why? I think I once had it set to D: many years ago, but I could be wrong.

My work computer's homedrive is set to H:, which is where my company puts our network folders.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Ditto to what BrewMan says. I don't know why it is so popular (H for homedrive?) but about 70% of the places I've contracted to have it set up that way.

I have a dual boot configuration.
My primary harddisk has drives C to F and is used for backup and recovery.
My secondary harddisk starts with drive G to I and is used as default configuration.
Drive C to F are hidden in my default configuration.
Side benefit is that malware often looks for drive C: and fails to install.

If the FileListToArray returned an array when you specified c:users, feel free to hardcode the DirRemove, unless someone can think of a way that subfolders would potentially reside somewhere other than the parent...

does the Rec version offer benefits when recursion is not needed?
