Valnurat Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hi. I'm trying to collect only computerobject from AD by using the attribute "manageby". I have looked at the _AD_GetObjectsInOU and it seems to get the job done, but I still miss the last piece. _ad_open() $aComputerOwner = _AD_GetObjectsInOU("OU=computers," & $sSiteOU & ",OU=company,DC=AD,DC=company,DC=ORG","(objectclass=computer)","","managedby") _ArrayDisplay($aComputerOwner,"") _ad_close() The outcome is just the names of the manageby for all computerobject in the OU How can I get the job done? Yours sincerely Kenneth.
water Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 You want only the computers managed by a specific person? Or do you want to retrieve all computers plus the users who manages them? water Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 (edited) Then it should be something like: _ad_open() $aComputerOwner = _AD_GetObjectsInOU("OU=computers," & $sSiteOU & ",OU=company,DC=AD,DC=company,DC=ORG","(&(objectclass=computer)(managedby=xxx))") _ArrayDisplay($aComputerOwner,"") _ad_close() Where xxx needs to be replaced by the FQDN (at least I think it is the FQDN - can't test at the moment) of the specific person.
