foozoor Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 How to retrieve monitor information like manufacturer name, product name or the data string? WMI and "Win32_" functions don't work at all on my machine. I know it's possible because madVR does it correctly: Thanks in advance for your help!

water Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 You could try to automate madVR. Danyfirex Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 You can use Registry. here are some information of registry keys https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/jj133967(v=vs.85).aspx Then You need to parse EDID https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_Display_Identification_Data An alternative can be use a nirsoft tool called DumpEDID and pase the std output.
