How to Save a Word Doc through AutoIt

I am trying to save the word file using file save function in auto it and other functions but itas not working properly,

Although i have tried SEND (^S) and SEND( "{CTRL} + {S}"). But still not working

kindly help me with your solution

Manipulating Word by sending keystrokes is not reliable.  AutoIt has a Word UDF that you will find in the help file.  It will help you do many things with Word including save (see _Word_DocSave).

Can you help me with the WORD UDF ( _Word_DocSave ) with an small example ??? like to save a doc ???

because i am not able to get that function properly
