Thanks, it works.

How can I get the address of Explorer window?

I tried with this:

$strLocalFilderPath = ControlGetText("Title","","[CLASS:ToolbarWindow32; INSTANCE:2]"

but I get this text:

"Address: C:Users......."

I want directly to get only:

"C:Users......."

When I tried:

$strLocalFilderPath = ControlGetText("Title","","[CLASS:Edit; INSTANCE:1]"

it returned "" (blank)

In the end I use the simple split string:

Local $array = StringSplit("Address: C:Users..............","Address: ",1)

MsgBox(0,"",$array[2])

How can I do the following steps:

1) Sort an "Explorer" window by Date Modified

2) Take the folder's name of the newest

atzoref,

Rather than working with the Explorer GUI, just use _FileListToArray directly to get a list of the folders on that path and then use FileGetTime to check their DTG. Both of those functions work for folders as well as files despite their names. :)

You can do it without automating the Explorer.

Just read the file structure directly in Autoit.

Melba23,

FileGetTime - is great for me.

But how can I get the newest file from the array which crate by " _FileListToArray "?

(And I don't like so much this method because the folder contains a big amount of subfolders.

Xenobiolog,

Where can I find info on that? (I didn't find).

Thanks.

atzoref,

Xenobiologist basically said to do what I suggested. ;)

Look at the return from FileGetTime - "YYYYMMDDHHMMSS". That means you can use a simple comparison to find the newest:

#include <File.au3>

; Set path
$sPath = "Your_Path"

; Get the folder list
$aList = _FileListToArray($sPath, "*", 2)

; Set the DTG to an artificially low figure
$sMin_DTG = "00000000000000"

For $i = 1 To $aList[0]
    ; Get folder DTG
    $sFolder_DTG = FileGetTime($sPath & "" & $aList[$i], 0, 1)
    ; Compare with current value
    If $sFolder_DTG > $sMin_DTG Then
        $sMin_DTG = $sFolder_DTG
        $sNewest_Folder = $aList[$i]
    EndIf
Next

MsgBox(0, "Newest Folder", $sNewest_Folder)

All clear? :)

A little question about : @ScriptFullPath

It is gives a full path include the filename of the script

How can I get only the path of the directory of the script (without the full filename)?

atzoref,

I use these: :)

Local $sFile = "C:Program FilesAnother DirAutoIt3AutoIt3.chm"

; Full Path with backslash -                         Example returns     "C:Program FilesAnother DirAutoIt3"
Local $sPath = StringRegExpReplace($sFile, "(^.*)(.*)", "1")
ConsoleWrite($sPath & @CRLF)

; Full Path without backslash -                      Example returns     "C:Program FilesAnother DirAutoIt3"
Local $sPathExBS = StringRegExpReplace($sFile, "(^.*)(.*)", "1")
ConsoleWrite($sPathExBS & @CRLF)
