ElMariachi
Hi Guys! I'm new on this forum and new in Autoit Development and I need some help from someone, if possible... I have a script with one GUI, 3 buttons and 2 listviews. 2 buttons change/copy items between listview1 and listview2, and 1 button to start some tasks with items select in listview2. Function in Button3: $count = _GUICtrlListView_GetItemCount($listView1) For $i = 0 To $count - 1 Dim $cod_id = 0 $cod_id = _GUICtrlListView_GetItemText($listView1, $i, 5) ; Column 5 has a number If $cod_id = "" Then MsgBox(16, "STOP", "No items selected") ExitLoop Else "Execute some task" EndIf Next Normally I had 10/20 items selected in listview2 in each execution, and script running well in most of executions. But, sometimes, something strange happens with GUI... while script is in loop, the GUI dissapears and the MsgBox "No items selected" appears. Clicking OK and checking process on task manager I see that the script still running... like command GUIDelete() had been called. I believe that is not something related to some "GUI_Event" or something like that... Anyone can help or give ideas, please? Sorry for my bad english... Regards! PhoenixXL
Your Code should have a infinite Loop which should exit upon $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE(-3) if not then the GUI will disappear If then too therez a problem then full code is required Regards Phoenix XL My code: PredictText: Predict Text of an Edit Control Like Scite. ElMariachi
Hi Melba23! Thanks for reply and tips! The script is too big to post here (up to 2000 lines + includes) but I can send you by email or something like that if you want. Hi PhoenixXL! Thanks for reply too! The code is inside a infiity loop "GUI created" While 1 $msg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $msg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $button3 :for example $count = _GUICtrlListView_GetItemCount($listViewSelec) For $i = 0 To $count - 1 Dim $cod_id = 0, $comando = 0, $lista = 0 $cod_id = _GUICtrlListView_GetItemText($listView1, $i, 5) ; Column 5 has a number If $cod_id = "" Then MsgBox(16,"STOP","No items selected") ExitLoop Else "Execute some task" EndIf Next EndSwitch Wend Sorry for the tabs. Still training... Keep researching... Regards ElMariachi Edited July 31, 2012 by ElMariachi
guinness
My advice is start from scratch or work backwards if you can. You find you become a better coder if you start debugging your own programs and not relying just on the Forum. Try to create a small script that reproduces the issue, I find that helps me to understand why I might have done wrong.
