I'm pretty sure that the AutoIt3Wrapper is going to look for the beta in P:AutoitinstallBeta

OK - so NOTE for future: if you have a version running on your PC, from a share drive, and then do an install to computer with beta and production, and do not close all your instances of AU3 files in Scite - it will continue to run off of the shared drive. I closed all my AU3 files and got this - sorry, did not know about this procedure.

This time it ran without errors on BETA - have to do some more testing now.

Heh, we all learn something new every day, at least it didn't cause too much trouble in the long run. BTW, I usually install the beta versions in their own folder and run them separately, that way I know which version is being used. A lot less confusing for me at least.

OK, now that I am using the latest ALPHA of Excel UDF with the BETA of AutoIt - I am no longer getting an array, the msgbox() comes up and nothing is listed for the string

Sorry, with the above script it errors before I can run it. I tried to find out what variable to send to __COMError_Handler to but could not figure it out - looks like that is the only thing stopping it from running?

You need quotes around __COMError_Handler so the line should read:

Pffft. Doesn't help much. No description what really happened. The Number just means: "There was a generic error"

You are running Windows XP with Service Pack 3?

Do you have a Windows 7 installation with Office 2010 available to test the script?

Because the reproducer script runs fine on my Windows 7 64 bit machine with Office 2010 32 bit.

I do have a Windows 7 64 bit, but have not located a recent copy of Office, anyone else willing to test?
