How to use AutoIt to turn my second monitor off ONLY while a specific program is running?

I have some programs that dislike my having more than one monitor on while I am using them. I am having trouble figuring out how to create a AutoIt that will launch my program, turn off the extra monitor, and keep the monitor off until the program is closed, when it will then turn it back on.

Yes I did. However, this time my question pertained to a problem with a program and NOT a game.

The snippet from the wiki did not work for me. However I found this snippet from a few years ago that MasterFocus posted.

This works for me, but turns off both monitors. Is there some way to have it turn off a specific monitor? Also, how would I go about having this script check every few seconds for a specific process and only activate once that process is found?

Here's a VB snippet which claims to do what you want. Search for an AutoIt example of how to use "ChangeDisplaySettingsEx" and apply the mentioned changes.
