NiwatiX Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 (edited) Hello guys, Usually, when you want to operate some kind of mouse action on not focus windows you can use ControlClick. This time I need to mouse hover "MouseOver" a particular place, not click (or click but it won't do anything usefull in particular if I click there) just simply hover the place with some kind of virtual cursor that don't use my real mouse and send a key. I need some kind of : ControlMouseOver("title", "text", controlID ,[, x [, y]] ) sleep(X) ControlSend("application", "", "", "o") The important part is that I need some kind of cursor to be over the place and to stay on it while controlsend press the key Thank you in advance for any help you can provide! NiwatiX Posted May 27, 2013 Author Posted May 27, 2013 What is the application? Have you tried Au3Info and ControlClick? Java application and no I can't use ControlClick, as I said I need to MouseOver and press a key simultaneously. I want to know if its possible with autoit
Solution JohnOne Posted May 28, 2013 Solution Posted May 28, 2013 As far as I know, in order to hover a mouse, you must first move the mouse to whatever you want to hover over. NiwatiX Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 As far as I know, in order to hover a mouse, you must first move the mouse to whatever you want to hover over. Alright so you think there is no way I can simulate the mouse action with some kind of ControlClick but MouseOver on not focus window?
Draygoes Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I am going to agree with JohnOne. I dont think its possible. Spoiler "If a vegetarian eats vegetables,What the heck does a humanitarian eat?" Yes, that's exactly what I think. AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans.
