Unable to extract string

Hi,

Caught up with a weird issue.

StringRegExp($sHTML, '<(?i)td>(.*?)</(?i)td>', 3)

using the above code I am able to extract the below string.

<td>08/23/2013 09:01 PM IST</td>

but if the same is in the below format where there is spacing, its not recognizing in the array.

<td>

555957

</td>

 

Any solution?

Array access on expression should only be used when you're 100% sure an Array will be returned e.g.

Example()

Func Example()
    ConsoleWrite(SomeFunc()[0] & @CRLF) ; I know this will always be an Array.
EndFunc

Func SomeFunc()
    Local $aArray[] = [100, 200, 300, 400, 500]
    Return $aArray
EndFunc   ;==>SomeFunc

Edit: Unless there is some error checking before, your idea could fail if no table data is present. Edited March 2, 2014 by guinness

And it's quite possible that the final purpose is to get several cols from the table anyway

kylomas, your pattern will grab the vertical spaces too

That fix is quite heavy as now you're parsing the data twice.
