Yes I was thinking of adding asterix to definitions which are unofficial (in the table of course ;) ).

I would personally just make them match with each other. Having unofficial prefixes could cause confusion for some users. Edited by guinness

Do you mean move $e to the top along side other number types?

What is the best practice regarding constants?

Personally I would remove $e altogether and replace $k: the fact that enumerations are numbers is irrelevant because the named variables take precedence over their numeric value. The layout of the article should cater for things that might possibly change in the future. I would regroup all prefixes according to whether or not they are associated with variable type - VarGetType() - and continue from there.

Maybe I ought to remove all unofficial prefixes - I don't really want to do that.

What really has to be clear is the distinction between best coding practices and personal opinion. For example here's how I would declare a global constant using prefixes which I believe to be most commonly understood. However it is a personal preference (to a certain degree) based on my experience with naming conventions.

I meant the wiki table of prefixes should match the list of that document I provided, as it's not only official, but based on the opinion of multiple devs.

I am not editing the wiki article, as I don't want to be accused of enforcing my own opinions on the subject.
