Is there a bug with FileExist function ?

I'm having troubles with FileExist function.

My autoit version is 3.3.14.2.

I'm working with C:\windows\System32 folder.

On windows 7

I use this script copied and modified from FileExist.au3 from the Autoit Help chm

if the productname of  the file  doesn't have key words like Windows or Microsoft

it say that the file do not exist...

Did you run it with the x86 version or x64 version of autoit?
Try them both and you probably find that the x64 version will work as expected.

Try to add _WinAPI_Wow64EnableWow64FsRedirection ( False ) before.

The above works, I still think it's weird it does not without it, when the path to the file is hard coded, and not @SystemDir.

@SystemDir returns the redirected path if you're using a x64 version of the OS and a x86 script.
The native System32 directory is then accessible under the @WindowsDir & \sysnative directory.
If you want to run a x64 program stored in the native System32 directory, use _WinAPI_Wow64EnableWow64FsRedirection ( False ) before.

It's still possible to use a code like below, It can work but you may have issues.

EnvSet("PATH", @WindowsDir & "\sysnative;" & EnvGet("PATH"))
