remove mail profile

Hi,

I don't have a code snipet to post here just but I want to see if folks had any ideas about a script to remove mail profiles (GroupWise or Outlook) on a XP or W7 system. I had previously been searching for something that could do this with VB, but wasn't getting alot of hits when searching through google. Thanks.

Hi,

There is an Outlook UDF, check if it supports accounts removing.

The Outlook accounts are stored in the registry :

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionWindows Messaging SubsystemProfiles

My OutlookEx UDF doesn't support removing a profile.

Maybe you can delete a profile when starting Outlook with the /profiles command line switch.

I wonder if the /profile switch supports removing non Outlook profiles (i.e., GroupWise). I would think it would but not sure.

I'm sure it doesn't support removing non Outlook profiles. I'm not even sure you can remove Outlook profiles.

@TheDcoder You're right. I corrected myself.  You could be a little less abrasive though to newbs.  Nothing wrong with trying to create a welcoming forum.  Explain why...don't just slap.
