Moderators Melba23 Posted October 3, 2013 Moderators Posted October 3, 2013 future1995man,What OS are you running? C:WindowsSystem32 is a protected folder under Vista+ and you cannot easily create/delete files within it. future1995man Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 future1995man, And can you delete and copy file within that folder manually? M23 yes because that file is text not windows file.
Moderators Melba23 Posted October 3, 2013 Moderators Posted October 3, 2013 future1995man,You are running into the MS "we know better then you" routine. Although it looks as if the files are in that folder they are actually elsewhere as Windows protects the WindowsSystem32 folder from user actions. Google "folder redirection" and you will soon see what is going on.
