There is UI Automation UDF in development in Example scripts, that is probably your best bet to try. Just been doing some research (which I guess you have been doing) and it appears you need to use Microsoft Active Accessibility API. But that's honestly more technical than using netsh, which is simple in comparison. Note: Making requests because you can't do something, doesn't make it a viable request.
