Hello all:

In the past I have used the AutoIT activeX control to perform automated tasks using excel.  I am now trying to create a script directly in that will target a form.  The form may have a button called button1 and I would like to know how I can directly target the button with a keypress.  ALso, if you could point me to the documentation regarding this, that would be help immensely.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Juan

Excel can use AutoItx?

Use window info tool, located in AutoIt install folder to get class of the button.

Use ControlClick function to click it.

Search forum with terms such as "Click Button" "Control click button" etc...

Welcome to AutoIt and the forum!

Can you please be a bit more specific? What kind of "form" are you talking about? A GUI, a web form ...?

Can you please post the code you have so far?

The more info we have, the better we can help :)
