Hello,

from my script I am loading a excel workbook into a new instance of excel and I need to detect, when it has been closed.

Within the excel document macros are used by the user, which for example are using "Application.FileDialog".

Currently I am using _Excel_BookList to see, if the document is still open.

However when the Save-Dialog is active or the Application.FileDialog I am unable to detect if the Excel book was closed or just a dialog is active. Is there anyway to check this?

Is there any way, to detect this?

You can use Excel events. Means: A function gets triggered when an event happens.
