If it works, what is the issue?

An example of a dll call to turn off the screen.

Const $SYSCommand = 274
Const $SC_MonitorPower = 61808
Local $HWND = WinGetHandle("[CLASS:Progman]")
DllCall("user32.dll", "int", "SendMessage", "hwnd", $HWND, "int", $SYSCommand, "int", $SC_MonitorPower, "int", 2)

A good start point is to read the help page of AddPrinter from MSDN

The easiest way is to use WMI (like I did with the Printer Management UDF)

You probably can convert this vb code to AutoIt https://binaryworld.net/main/CodeDetail.aspx?CodeId=3646 I can't help you right now cuz I got a finger broken :S

As jguinch says WMI It's a great Alternative too
