Send function: get real number of characters to send

Hi all,

 

is there any function which tells me how many characters a "Send" string does really contain, after {} macros have been expanded? For example:

....("{BS}") should return "1", since 1 backspace character is to be sent,
....("{BS 10}") should return "10", since 10 backspace characters are to be sent,

How do you determine how often to repeat the BS key? Maybe you could use a variable:

$iCount = 10 
Send("{BS " & $iCount & "}")

@ArminLinder no there is not a function that could tell you what you want.  You would have to decode it yourself.  Good luck !
