msgbox problem

a small problem with msgbox

for example msgbox(0,"","see this message")

it does not always show up on the desktop. It stays on the taskbar blinking.

i have to click it on the taskbar then it appears on the desktop.

sometimes the message does appear on the desktop, but more times stays

on the taskbar

this happens on my windows 10 system, not on a windows 7 system.

You could use the hWnd parameter of an existing GUI or create a GUI and set the MsgBox as child of this GUI.

yes, i know, but i have lots and lots  of msgboxs in lots of scripts.

Never heard of a global solution for your problem.

this problem exists for all scripts with msgbox

 

this problem also happens with inputbox

thought maybe some kind of windows 10 problem

Yes it is.  I hate this OS, it is full of small annoying bugs everywhere

What happens if you use $MB_TOPMOST in your MsgBox?

that works however the problem i have 100's of scripts with lots of messages...would take quite an effort

was looking for perhaps some kind of windows 10 setting
