ant2ne
I am not sure how to describe this to google it. Using FileReadLine on a log file, I can read as log as the log generating app is turned off. If the app is on and running (and generating logs), the app locks the log file) from reading by other programs. I would like to design an autoit script/exe that can monitor log files (in real time) and send alert immediately.
water
For a reliable design I would use something like syslog. Quote It allows separation of the software that generates messages, the system that stores them, and the software that reports and analyzes them.
