Encryption
I am deeply sorry if this is in the AutoIt Help File, but I skimmed through it and did not find anything on it, so I decided to trek here and ask with the risk of losing dignity. Are the logical operators present in AutoIt? I need to use the && (and) operand in my script, otherwise it will be completely useless so if someone could please tell me if they are included in the AutoIt language, and how to use them, or a pointer to where they would be in the Help File. Thanks in advance.

photonblaster
just curiosity what mix up you in not finding in the help the first time? I decided to answer this question myself since I had problems getting NOT function info too.For me, I assumed that NOT was in AutoIt but wanted to make sure. In SCITe editor I typed NOT, saw the Scite indication it was part of the language, highlighted NOT, hit F1, and was not taken to the NOT function but the introduction to HELP files.Index list on left did not show NOT.Search term NOT did not find it.Looked at Function lists, expanded a few possible locations for NOT function, did not find it.Opened internet explorer, googled "autoit logical function NOT" and found this old posting. Finally did find it in the table I found when used help key word "operator" search. My problem is I was thinking of it as a function, not operator. My guess is that the search function in help can't handle the three letter search term well, and the NOT (and AND) links from Scite do not go to the right place. water
Please do not necro a thread that is more than 8 years old Keyword "Not" is not in the Index. That's why you get the introduction page. If you use the search function you are not successful because "Not" is a keyword for the search function.
