Command to search for a specific file on the whole PC ??

I need to search for a certain file name "msflx.ocx" on the entire harddrive and to return its path.

Is there any function or UDF for this ? I searched on the forums too but I wasn't satisfied with the results.

I can't find it :oops:

I SERIOUSLY doubt you searched for RecFileListToArray because there's probably at least 100 hits when I search for it.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

But I have a problem ! Its way too complicated this UDF I ever saw. I don't want to return any GUI with the results, and I don't understand the examples :/ .

How I need to put the parameters to search for a "msflx.ocx" file in the %appdata% folder and to return the file's path ? Any help would be apreciated ! Thankyou
