oceanwaves Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Hi guys, Now I using Autoit to develop testing script for our company project automate testing. I want to create 2 process, one is responsible for implementation, another is monitor, record and check result etc. I have found and read the corresponding topic on the forum, there have some methods can achieve process communication : 1. Via .txt or .ini or registry. Process A and process through them to talk. 2. TCP or UDP protocol. 3. Windows message------------but i have a question, if I use GUIRegisterMsg() , you know, I only test 3rd program, not my owner Autoit program. So GUIRegisterMsg similar can realize process communication without GUI? If they can, how? Bye the way, Adlibregister is good idea, but help file say :"The adlib function should be kept simple as it is executed often and during this time the main script is paused.....". I'm not make sure process B meets this warning. Reason of _Time_SetTimer likes Adlib.... So I want to hear your suggestion, if you want to realize process communication, how to do it? I love Autoit. LOL. :)

I'll check Mailslot.au3. If Mailslot is helpful and powerful, I hope it can be collected to the next Autoit official version.
