_IEErrorHandlerRegister() may be causing me problems

Recommended Posts

My script will not compile with the _IEErrorHandlerRegister() function present. However, if I remove the function the script will then compile. However, the compiled script does not work correctly...as in, it will not write the files that is supposed to be writing. When I try to compile it with the function present I get the follow error message:

>Running AU3Check (3.3.9.20)  from:C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\beta
"C:\Users\user\Desktop\AutoIT_Script\acedatagrab.au3"(34,25) : error: _IEErrorHandlerRegister(): undefined function.
_IEErrorHandlerRegister()
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^
C:\Users\user\Desktop\AutoIT_Script\acedatagrab.au3 - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
>Exit code: 0    Time: 2.774
Is this a known issue?
in 3.3.9.20 and 21
try to use
ObjEvent
EDIT:
T3.0-0 12/9/3
Fixes
- Removed _IEErrorHandlerRegister() and all internal calls to it.  Unneeded as COM errors are no longer fatal
You must check every byte entered by your users, making sure that data is the correct type for its field and that required fields are not empty."
