supershick
Didn't want to create a new post for a problem so here goes: I'm stuck in a mouseclick infinite loop. The mouse clicks on the screen in an infinite loop and won't stop. I can't access anything write now because anything I bring up, the mouse just clicks it away. I can't start the task manager. I'm wondering is there a shortcut to kill a script? Maybe the best bet is to just restart the computer? Thanks for any help!!
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted October 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) supershick, your post has nothing to do with what PDowning originally asked about, so is considered thread hijacking (we'll spare you, because you're new). I would highly suggest you click the Report button on your post, and request a Mod to split it out into its own topic. That way, you'll have many more sets of eyes on your problem. Also, if you would like to get the most help possible, please post your script, even if it is not working the way you would like it to. Moderators Melba23 Posted October 21, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) supershick,Posts split. As mentioned, please start a new thread rather then hijack - we much prefer it that way. mLipok
Try to use this: Opt("MouseClickDelay", 0) Opt("MouseClickDownDelay", 0) This will increase the speed of at least half, compared to the standard settings. Rogue5099
supershick, Add a HotKeySet to the top of the code that you could press to pause the mouse movements. Example of pausing script below: HotKeySet('{PAUSE}', '_Pause') HotKeySet('{ESC}', '_Exit') $Pause = False $hSplash = SplashTextOn('Paused', 'Script will start not paused', 350, 60, @DesktopWidth/2-175, 0, 1, -1, 10, 500) Sleep(2000) While 1 While Not $Pause ControlSetText($hSplash,'', '[CLASS:Static; INSTANCE:1]', 'Script not Paused' & @CR & 'Press "Pause" key to pause script / "ESC" to Exit') Sleep(100) ;Place Mouse movements here WEnd ControlSetText($hSplash,'', '[CLASS:Static; INSTANCE:1]', 'Script Paused' & @CR & 'Press "Pause" key to pause script / "ESC" to Exit') Sleep(100) ;Put any other script here except Mouse movements to allow yourself to move the mouse WEnd Func _Pause() $Pause = Not $Pause EndFunc Func _Exit() Exit EndFunc My projects: Inventory / Mp3 Inventory, Computer Stats
