MilesAhead
I don't know how to coerce a program to write a memory buffer to disk. But I know how you can force file system buffers to flush to disk. Use sync.exe (a command line interface freeware by SysInternals.) It uses an API to lock the disk volume. This has the side effect that the OS will flush all file buffers for that disk volume. I've used it for many years and never had an issue. Iczer
How you are fetching RSS news ? i'm not fetching RSS news, RSS reader dos. What you want to save / write on disk ? I' do not want to write, i'm want to read xml files from disk, they are writen there by RSS reader. And yes, its standalone program, not written on autoit. It not matter which, since my question not about concrete program, but about any OS/external means to make programs reduce working set and etc and write memory to disk. Of course, i can just restart RSS reader and everything would be written to disk, but i'm want to avoid that.
